Microsoft today launched it’s Office 365 cloud computing platform, it updates and replaces Microsoft BPOS. If you’re an existing Microsoft BPOS user, Microsoft will migrate and upgrade you for free. If you are on the Beta program they will allow you to use it for free for another 30 days.
Office 365 is Microsoft’s cloud computing platform to complete with Google’s Apps for Business, it has packages covering familiar applications such as Outlook/Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Office Communications Server and Microsoft Office Pro Plus.
It’s very cost affective and starts at just £4 per user per month! Why would you want to pay £120+maintenance for a copy of Microsoft Office or run your own SBS Server anymore when this is significantly more reliable and cost effective.
